Chris, a New York qualified lawyer, and Felicia, an experienced compliance officer who has worked with both large and small financial institutions, worked together at a Southeast Asia focused, boutique investment bank where they successfully faced and resolved typical compliance issues including regulatory inspections, satisfying regulatory requirements and maintaining best practices in corporate governance.
Kevin Riendeau is a Special Advisor to Holland & Marie. He provides management consulting, outsourced CEO/CRO/COO and project management services, with a special emphasis on risk management and implementing technology solutions.
Rachita is a Compliance Consultant at Holland & Marie. She assists financial institutions with internal audit and compliance matters. Her skills range from product delivery, process re-engineering and risk controls to compliance and audits.
Prior to Holland & Marie, Chris worked as Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel at a Southeast Asia-focused, boutique investment bank. Chris has considerable experience managing communications with regulators and implementing cross-jurisdictional policies and procedures. Prior to that role, Chris worked in the Singapore, Hong Kong and New York offices of Clifford Chance where he was Counsel in the Capital Markets Department.
Chris was a finalist for Singapore In-House Lawyer of the Year by Asian Legal Business in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Chris is a New York qualified lawyer and received his law degree from Duke University and his Bachelor's degree from The University of Virginia.
Prior to Holland & Marie, Felicia worked with several international firms in Asia and has gained extensive compliance experience in managing regulators, obtaining and applying for licences, designing and delivering compliance training programs and drafting policies and procedures.
Felicia holds an International Compliance Association Anti-Money Laundering Specialist Diploma, Bachelor in Law, Bachelor in Banking and Finance awarded by the University of London and an Executive Masters in Business Administration awarded by the University of Birmingham.
Prior to Holland & Marie, Melindah counseled corporate clients regarding class actions, corporate litigation and appeals, and regulatory compliance involving complex employment, competition and environmental issues as a senior associate at a private law firm in Washington, D.C. In addition to her private practice work, Melindah also served as an Associate Professor and Director of the Temple Law School Masters of Law Program (Ll.M) at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, while concurrently serving as an instructor the National Judicial College of the People’s Republic of China.
Melindah earned her Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School before going on to clerk for the Hon. Richard Suhrheinrich of the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, Summa Cum Laude, from the College of Honors at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Kevin is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Anextere, a business and technology solutions company headquartered in Tokyo. Anextere brings unique expertise to address buiness, technology and process challenges for its clients.
Prior to that, Kevin held Board and C-Suite roles in leading financial services firms including PGIM Investments Japan and J.P. Morgan Asset Management. He has also held senior roles in oversight, risk and control.
Kevin earned his MBA from McGill University. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College. Kevin is fluent in Japanese.
Daniel has over 20 years of compliance expertise working with large and small financial institutions. Prior to Holland & Marie, Daniel was Chief Compliance Officer at Allianz Global Investors Singapore Limited, a Capital Markets Services Licensee for retail fund management. In that role, Daniel also served as the regional Anti-Fraud and Economic Sanctions Officer for AllianzGI’s offices in Asia Pacific. Before AllianzGI, Daniel was the Head of Compliance and Chief Operating Officer at Helvetic Investments Pte Ltd., a boutique wealth manager dealing with high net worth clients.
Daniel graduated with a Master of Applied Finance degree from the Macquarie University.
Anne has more than 15 years of experience in investments, capital markets transactions, mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate strategy. Her expertise lies in fund management, regulatory, compliance and ESG procedures, having successfully brought two previous investment funds through approval with the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Her expertise also includes identifying and executing investments and partnership transactions, and driving value creation strategies at the board and operational levels.
Anne founded Alphavita Capital, a specialist investment fund advisory and corporate strategy consulting firm. She is also Co-Founder of Academy Prêt, an education company in Singapore and Korea.
Anne graduated cum laude with dual degrees from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and the Wharton School. Anne is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School. Anne is fluent in English and Korean.
Rachita is a seasoned financial services professional with over 12 years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to Holland & Marie, Rachita has worked with several private sector banks in India. Rachita holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree from the National Institute of Agricultural Marketing at Jaipur, India.
